Professional Landscaping started not just as a business, but as a dream fueled by family, faith, and a whole lot of determination.

It all began when I was in the final trimester of my pregnancy with our first daughter. One day, my husband Mario came to me and said he had quit his landscaping job. With no plan B, no savings, and not even a lawn mower of our own, he looked at me and said he was going to start his own company.

At the time, Mario didn’t speak any English. Still, he went door to door in our neighborhood, asking if anyone needed help with their landscaping. We’ll never forget that very first job — a kind elderly man paid Mario $30 to clean the leaves in his yard. That one small “yes” became the spark that lit the fire.

With incredible grit and determination, Mario began picking up more weekly lawn maintenance jobs. Using a borrowed lawn mower and trimmer from my grandparents, he carefully folded the equipment into the back of our tiny Toyota Corolla. He even bagged clippings by hand and loaded them into the backseat to haul them to the nearest dumpster.

Every step of the way, Mario gave everything he had to build something real — not just for us, but for our clients and our growing team. His work ethic, character, and “never give up” mindset became the foundation of what Professional Landscaping is today: a company rooted in hard work, honesty, and heart.

Now, years later, we are proud to serve both residential and commercial clients with full-service landscaping that reflects the same care and dedication that started it all.
